Scotia hands the Sir Bills a loss

Scotia defeated the Johnstown Sir Bills, 11-2 on Wednesday afternoon in Johnstown, NY. Wesley Clark led the Sir Bills at the plate. He went 1-for-2 with one run scored and one run batted in. Trevor Bruce helped out, he went 1-for-2 with one run batted in.

The Sir Bills fall to 1-5 overall and 1-5 in the Foothills. The Spartans improve to 4-2 and 4-2 in the Foothills.

Scotia got on the board first with two runs in the top of the first. Madcharo doubled in the first runs. Myers singled in the second run of the inning.

Johnstown answered with one run in the bottom of the first on a single by Clark, scoring Ryan Brown.

Scotia made the score, 3-1 with one run in the top of the second on a RBI ground out to the shortstop by Granny.

Scotia added five more runs in the top of the third. Myers knocked in the first run with a RBI single. Cremo singled to knock in the second run. The next two runs came in on a two RBI triple by Dwyer.

The Sir Bills scored their last run in the bottom of the fourth on a RBI single by Bruce.

Scotia went 9-2 with one run in the top of the sixth when Swider scored on a wild pitch. They added two more runs in the top of the seventh. Granny singled in the first run. The second run came in when Madcharo reached on an error by the shortstop.

The Sir Bill will take on the Gloversville Huskies for their next game. The game will be at Johnstown High School.
